Trusted Products for Superior Infection Control

The team at Tosa Dental in Wauwatosa, WI, uses every product in the Monarch product line, from the CleanStream Evacuation System Cleaner to the Upholstery Chair Cleaner and Conditioner, relying on them to provide effective, safe infection control.

The practice first invested in the products about 6 years ago, Practice Director Carolyn Miskell said, with the Monarch Surface Disinfectant Wipes quickly becoming a favorite. The wipes come in 2 sizes, the standard large and extra-large, Miskell said, adding that one wipe is usually enough.

“Because of the liberal saturation and the extra-large size, we can reliably say we are cleaning and disinfecting the surface as it’s intended to be without using 3 or 4 wipes,” she said.

The new packaging design ensures the wipes stay saturated, so the user doesn’t have to worry about them drying out with the container repeatedly being opened and closed throughout the day. The cap is easy to take off, but the lid stays sealed when it isn’t open, retaining moisture.

Because of the low toxicity, the business team can use the wipes in the front office without having to run back to the clinical environment to get gloves, Miskell said. The disinfectants can be used on all surfaces without causing degradation, which is another huge benefit. Team members can remove a wipe from the canister, wipe, and go for an easy, effective clean.

The product doesn’t dry out the fabric—it simply cleans and conditions the upholstery as intended. “The high-end materials are very delicate,” Miskell said. “This product cleans and produces a nice shine without harming the chair upholstery.”
