There are plenty of destinations on the road to digital dentistry, but very few starting points. But Dennis Stiles, DDS, in private practice for over 30 years, argues there is a much greater risk in not embracing technology.
“It’s important to stay current and bring good technology into our practice that allows me to serve my patients better,” said Dr. Stiles. “If I can spend less time worrying about a model that has distortions and instead have a digital library of models that I can print out anytime I need them, that allows me to have more time with my patients. The digital platform lends itself to more predictability, and that’s always been my goal as a practicing dentist.”
