OLGA TRON, DDS

Dr. Tron has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. Originally from Ukraine, she received her dental degree from New York University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she was accepted into the prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Florida. After her post-graduate studies, she and her husband made Jacksonville their hometown. She has been practicing in the Orange Park and Jacksonville areas since 2004, dedicating her time to providing the best comprehensive care possible. Her true passions are learning new skills and furthering her education in dentistry. With more than 1,000 hours in continuing education, she earned a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an associate fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a mastership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

By allowing dental professionals to learn the most up-to-date information online, in person, and through each other, DentalXP has revolutionized the way dentists around the world learn and interact. Here, Dr. Olga Tron describes her journey and how DentalXP has played a role in taking her patient care to a higher level.

If you had told 16-year-old me, just beginning dental school in Ukraine, that one day I’d be practicing in Florida using the latest surgical techniques I learned from global experts, I wouldn’t have believed you. I chose dentistry almost by chance, but once I began, I knew I was in the right field—I had always liked working with my hands and solving problems.

After moving to the United States, I earned my dental degree again at NYU, completed a residency, and have since spent nearly 20 years working as an associate in the Jacksonville area. As dentistry advanced rapidly, I knew I had to keep growing. That’s when DentalXP entered the picture and helped me expand my skill set, especially in surgical procedures, treatment planning, and implant dentistry.

From Recommendation to Transformation

What started as a simple recommendation from a former employer turned into a transformative experience in ongoing education and camaraderie. DentalXP introduced me to new clinical techniques, such as partial extraction therapy and socket shield, and elevated how I approach complex cases. More than that, it gave me something every dentist needs: community and mentorship.

Becoming a DentalXP member was one of the best investments I’ve made. The on-demand clinical videos, step-by-step demos, peer-reviewed articles, webinars, and forums are unmatched. Whether it’s after work or during a lunch break, I can log in and learn from some of the most respected clinicians in the world. The quality is incredible—every lecture feels like you're learning directly from the source.

During COVID, when travel stopped, DentalXP kept going. Their webinars and virtual courses helped to redefine what was possible in remote education. I even completed their implant fellowship, which blends online learning, quizzes, and hands-on training.

A Global Community

What’s also unique is the sense of connection. I’ve traveled for live courses and international programs in places like Brazil and Sarajevo, and at every event, I met people who became lifelong friends and mentors. Through DentalXP, I joined a close-knit group of women general dentists doing advanced surgical work—still uncommon in our field. We share cases, challenges, and successes. We lift each other up.

Today, I practice alongside one of those friends. We had met during residency and reconnected through DentalXP. We trained together, supported each other, and now serve the same community. DentalXP gave me not just clinical knowledge, but confidence, inspiration, and the relationships that make this profession so rewarding.
