Spirapost PFS from DMG-America is a self-adapting dental post that provides a custom fit for all root canal configurations. The unique, flexible design allows it to adapt to the curvature and irregularities of the canal, minimizing the removal of tooth material for an ultra-conservative post space preparation. The posts consist of surgical stainless wires twisted around natural color polyfiber strands to create a homogenous unit by combining with the resin cement and core material in the canal. It can be angled once the post cement has been cured, so that it is centered within the core and the stresses are evenly distributed for the maximum amount of support for the restoration. The radiopaque posts are made of 100% biocompatible materials and are easy to use and remove.
