PREAT’s Fiberglass Pencils are designed for removing investment from castings and oxides or other discoloration from cast or machined metal. The pencil’s holder is similar to a mechanical pencil. The user turns the end of the pencil to extend the fiberglass insert. Refills can be placed when needed. The Fiberglass Pencil should be used in front of a vacuum and the user should wear both protective glasses and a breathing mask for protection against breathing or absorbing the airborne fiberglass particles.
