From PREAT, Perma Block is a cellulose-based block-out material that adheres to wet rubber dams, soft tissue, and teeth. Delivered using a single-dose cartridge, Perma Block requires no mixing, curing, setting, or working time. I can be immediately placed. The material is indicated to block out undercuts resulting from large gingival embrasures, implant bars, precision attachments, or fixed partial denture pontics during impression making procedures. The heavy body of the material helps to prevent displacement during the intraoral pick-up of attachments with autopolymerizing resins. Perma Block can be used for laboratory duplication but should not be used for laboratory/indirect processing of acrylic.
