ACTIVA BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVE is a dual-cure, highly esthetic, bioactive composite suitable for bulk filling, and delivers the advantages of glass ionomers in a strong, resilient, resin matrix that will not chip or crumble. ACTIVA chemically bonds to teeth; seals against microleakage; releases calcium, phosphate and fluoride; and is more durable and fracture-resistant than traditional composites. The viscosity of ACTIVA facilitates the bulk-fill procedure by using one product. It flows in order to wet the interproximal and gingival walls of cavities, is strong and durable, and yet is also elastic enough to be used in cuspal formation. The dual-cure ability of ACTIVA BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVE ensures a complete cure in more than 2 mm incremental layering.
