The 3Shape TRIOS family of intraoral scanners continues to set the standard in digital dentistry. Say ‘Hello’ to Hyperspectral Imaging

Equipped with the world’s first-ever advanced hyperspectral imaging technology, TRIOS 6 simultaneously captures data from 3 light sources: white, fluorescent, and near-infrared, fusing the data together into one image with lifelike colors, and opening up a window beyond the tooth surface.

“Hyperspectral imaging lets us look beyond the surface and capture signals that earlier TRIOS scanners could not,” shared Dr. Ornella Delli Rocili, Senior Global Training & Education Manager, Clinical, at 3Shape. “In one pass, TRIOS 6 uses 3 light sources at the same time: white light to capture geometry, tooth morphology, and color; white light together with fluorescence to visualize indicators of surface caries and plaque; and near-infrared imaging (NIRI) to support proximal caries visualization.”

110% Higher Scan Resolution

TRIOS 6 captures HD scans with up to 110% higher scan resolution** and also leverages 3Shape’s patented ScanAssist technology, which uses intelligent alignment. Additionally, a haptic feedback feature guides users as they scan.

Measuring 10.47 inches in length, and with a new arctic sapphire metallic look, TRIOS 6 offers the same ergonomics and wireless capability that TRIOS users are accustomed to. Compact, lightweight, and calibration free, TRIOS 6 weighs just 10.8 oz and features a visual upgrade that includes a redesigned button layout based on customer feedback.
