Earlier this year, my hygienist brought me a flier highlighting a new loupe system designed to correct the habitually poor posture in our profession. Ironically, I was teaching at CDA Presents in San Francisco the next month, and my first order of business was to visit the LumaDent booth on the convention floor to try out those very same loupes.

The second I put the ErgoPrism loupes on, I felt my posture finally feel "natural,” which was a huge departure from what I had allowed it to become using direct vision loupes. I immediately placed an order for the 4.3x magnification loupes. I’ve been wearing them since the day they arrived in my office, and in my 25 years of practicing dentistry, my chairside posture has never been better. I’ve felt less tension in my upper back, shoulders, neck, and hands.

Prior to using ErgoPrism loupes, I needed to place Botox in my neck and upper shoulder regions, as well as receive regular therapeutic massages to relieve the pain and tension.
