ORMOCER CHEMISTRY ALLOWS DIRECT PLACEMENT OF PURELY CERAMIC-BASED RESTORATIONS.
Find out why Robert A. Lowe, DDS, believes that Admira Fusion:
• Offers simplified handling, great esthetics, and exceptional marginal integrity.
• Can be placed safely in all patients with its high biocompatibility.
Admira Fusion is a combination of the nano-hybrid technology of VOCO’s Grandio restorative system and the ORMOCER chemistry of VOCO’s Admira. The result is an entirely new class of material— nanohybrid ORMOCER (an acronym for Organically Modified Ceramic). It’s a combination of inorganic (ceramic) and organic materials, so I can now place purely ceramic-based restorations at chairside with the familiar techniques of traditional direct composites. Admira Fusion offers numerous clinical benefits for a wide range of cases (see “Indications”).
Without Bis-GMA, TEGDMA, or HEMA, Admira Fusion is very biocompatible. Admira Fusion shrinks only 1.25%, dramatically reducing shrinkage stress and creating great marginal integrity. Its smooth consistency adapts well and facilitates sculpting. Furthermore, I can easily polish Admira Fusion to a high gloss and smooth finish, creating a hard, wear-resistant surface to which microorganisms can’t adhere. Rounding out its many benefits, Admira Fusion is extremely color stable, highly radiopaque, and compatible with any bonding system.
